Atlanta’s own Higher Learning to open for Disco Biscuits Tonight

Tonight will be a night to remember with Higher Learning playing the historic Tabernacle for the first time. This will ignite a fiery 3 night NYE Run for the Disco Biscuits whose Atlanta fanbase has been growing at an exponential pace. HL is the perfect match to warm up the stage for Bisco, who will surely bring down the house!

Higher Learning is a 3 piece live/electronic rock band on 1320 Records that has had the honor of sharing the stage with such artists as STS9, Big Gigantic, Lotus, Papadosio, Ghostland Observatory, Zeds Dead, EOTO, Bluetech and many more.

The band is made up of Niles Roberts – Production/Keyboards, Ryan Renoud – Bass Guitar/Synth, Rohan Prakash – Drums/Electronic Percussion, and Adam Chelton – Production.

Here is a taste of whats in store:

Tearing through space and time in a rickety Moog-powered spaceship, Higher Learning is well on their way towards the outer reaches of Jupiter. Armed only with the spirit of exploration and an oversized container of party favors, the four psychonauts from the streets of Atlanta, GA gaze through the haze of the cockpit out into the little-known expanse of our fine universe. Their mission, daunting as it may be, is simple at its core: to distill the cosmos into sound. Their natural abilities to endure long periods of isolation and odd sleep schedules have enabled them to strive towards this goal with unbridled tenacity. From their collectively-twisted mind comes a sonic stew composed of liberal portions of analogue and digital frequencies – grounded for your pleasure by the familiar sounds of a live four-piece band. HL cordially invites you to join them on their interstellar adventures forward into the great wide yonder. Planets will turn, stars will die, and new stars will be born. Only one thing is for sure – you will want to hear it all.

Stay Funky my Friends,

~Mr. Nobody~
