A friendly reminder to get out and vote Georgia!
March 1st marks Georgia’s chance to give their stamp of approval to a candidate from each party and it is crucial to exercise your right. Even though GA has been a red state historically, it is also important for Democrats to hit the polls and help decide between Sanders and Clinton. Keep in mind that Georgia holds an open primary, which means that you can vote for whomever you feel is best fit regardless of your party affiliation. However, once you pick a ballot, you have to stick with it so no flip flopping!
Polls are open from 7 am to 7 pm on Super Tuesday, Georgia voters will determine how the state’s 193 delegates get divided up. Remember to bring a valid driver licence or one of the following: a state-issued voter identification card; a valid U.S. passport; and a valid U.S. military photo ID.
