Despite the throwback title, this blog post should give you an unbiased and objective resource on voting in Georgia. Although the date to register for the upcoming GA primary election has already past, you can still register for the presidential election this fall. The primary election will take place on March 1, 2016 and will select the candidates of each respective party for the general presidential election.

Absentee voting by mail has already started and registered voters can request a mail-in absentee ballot for either the Democrat or Republican preference primaries from their local elections office up to 45 days ahead of a federal Election Day.

 

COLLEGE STUDENTS

If you are a college student not living in your home state, you can vote for in either your home state or in the state in which you are attending school!

MILITARY/OVERSEAS VOTERS

If you are a Military Voter or a United States citizen living abroad, you are able to complete a ballot here.

If you really want to work hard to get registered, you can also go to your local DMV, but everyone knows that’s not the Primus spot… pun intended! Here are some key dates that everyone should be aware of:
